Mazda2 delivers impressive fuel efficiency thanks to a weight reduction of nearly 100 kilograms and world-class safety protection.
Mazda Motor Corporation has announced that the new Mazda2 was awarded the five-star maximum rating in the European New Car Assessment Programme (Euro NCAP) adult occupant protection safety test. This is the second five-star score from Euro NCAP awarded to a Mazda vehicle; the first was given to the Mazda5 (known as the Premacy in Japan) in September 2005.

Nissan Motor Co.’s brand new X-TRAIL SUV was awarded four stars out of a maximum five for adult, as well as child, occupant protection by the European New Car Assessment Programme (Euro NCAP).
Following the safety lead set by the Nissan Qashqai - which received the highest score for adult occupant protection ever by the independent crash test organization - the X-TRAIL scored especially well in child protection, underlining its role as an ideal family vehicle. X-TRAIL is one of only two vehicles on record to score 43 points for child protection, the maximum yet achieved in Euro NCAP tests.

With this result, the Tiguan continues the good tradition established by the Golf, Touran, Passat and Touareg in the past.

Not a chance that the sun can overcome these barriers!
We are well-aware of the effects the sun can have on our skin, especially if left unprotected! Before the eighties, the detrimental consequences of overexposure to the sun were not taken very seriously by most. Beaches, pools and even back yards across the country would be packed with sun worshippers, slathered in baby oil and iodine, in attempt to achieve the deepest, “healthiest” tan before summer’s end. Fast forward to today. Sure, we still enjoy the sun and the outdoors, but most of us wouldn’t dream of spending even a few hours unprotected—sun block, hats, more clothes, etc. There’s just too much to lose!
