Opel is going into model year 2008 with a lot of innovations and presents its fresh product portfolio at the IAA in Frankfurt (September 13 – 23, 2007). The most important enhancements include the considerably higher level of equipment for the Vectra, Vectra station wagon and Signum, which for example boasts two-zone Electronic Climate Control (ECC), Solar Reflect windshield and 17-inch light alloy wheels in the Edition Plus model. The Cosmo Plus includes bi-xenon curve light (AFL), leather trim and Park Pilot as standard.
The 206 kW/280 hp top performers Vectra OPC and Vectra station wagon OPC are available with a six-speed automatic transmission for the first time.
In the Corsa range, the 110 kW/150 hp Corsa GSi fills the gap between the Corsa Sport and the Corsa OPC. The Corsa 1.3 CDTI can be ordered with the six-speed Easytronic transmission in the future. In addition to the engines already available, Antara customers can now also choose the 2.0 CDTI common-rail diesel with 93 kW/127 hp and diesel particulate filter. Antara Edition and Cosmo models come standard with Trailer Stability Assist (TSA).
